Action on Elder Abuse is the only charity in the UK exclusively addressing the problems of elder abuse. It works to protect, and prevent the abuse of, vulnerable older adults through providing advice and guidance to those affected by or concerned about abuse.
The charity has a freephone national helpline - 080 8808 8141. In addition Action on Elder Abuse also provides education and training to key workers so as to improve care services. The charity also campaigns at government level to introduce legislative change to provide the legal protection for the elderly that they need.
